Thank you to everyone who came to our wedding! Even though we had to move it inside (and not everything went as smoothly as planned), it was a memorable night and we appreciated the support of our family and friends. We’re back from our honeymoon in Costa Rica — we had a great time in a beautiful country! We’ll post pictures soon of the wedding, reception & some from the honeymoon.

I hope nothing scandalous happened last night!

For guests who are traveling from out of town, since we are not having a rehearsal dinner, we’d like to host you at a post-wedding brunch! It’ll be late Saturday morning, April 29. Look for more details to be posted soon on the Wedding Info page.

We’re intentionally keeping our wedding & reception a bit more casual than most. We want everyone, including the bride & groom , to be comfortable and enjoy themselves! Semi-formal to dressy-casual attire will be fine. (The bride is not going to wear a traditional wedding gown, nor the groom a tuxedo.)

If you choose to have a gift sent the bride & groom from one of their registries, please include your name in the shipping notes or gift note so we know who to thank!

Note: we would welcome donations to our favorite charities in lieu of gifts. These include: Safe Place (Austin), CASA of Travis County, Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Hospice Austin and Marie Curie Hospice (in Bradford, England).

If you’re coming from out of town for the wedding and are planning to stay in a hotel, you may want to book a room as soon as possible! We’ve heard there’s a convention that weekend and hotels are booking up.

So what happened to Spring? We were supposed to have warm weather in March…wonder how hot it will be at the end of April? Knowing Texas it will probably freeze…

Well 6 1/2 weeks to go…there must be a lot to do…

Marrying a man is like buying something you’ve been admiring for a long time in a shop window. You may love it when you get it home, but it doesn’t always go with everything else in the house.

Hey, for everyone who does not know…Judy just got a new job at the WiFi Alliance here in Austin!! Congratulations are definately in order…She does not start for a few days…so she can work on the wedding…lucky me!
